I think you may be ready, but I'd personally give myself as much time to study as possible. Keep in mind, the REA tests are easier and the Petersons are harder. I also scored a 53 on the second Petersons and did poorly on the third (a 39). Did you take the FCP PT? They didn't have that when I was studying for Bio, but several months after I took the CLEP he came out with it. Being the testing junkie I am, I took the FCP PT "for fun" (keep in mind Bio is one of my least favorite subject). Anyway, the FCP PT is very accurate, IMO. If you have the time, take that.
Bottom line, if you've been reading the explanations to the questions afterwards (to the ones you got wrong AND RIGHT), and understand them well enough, I'd say you're good to go.
