Am I ready to take CLEP Macroeconomics exam if I score 70 percent on the AP Macroeconomics sample and past papers?

I have no personal experience with these, but I've heard that the AP exams are supposedly more rigorous than the CLEP ones, in general. I'd probably guess that you're good to go.

Personally, I'd go to ModernStates to read over/watch their macroeconomics course to see if there's anything that wasn't covered in the AP stuff.

What "sample" did you take? AP Macroeconomics is a different exam than CLEP Macroeconomics - they both cover macro, but only AP requires written work (CLEP is multiple choice) so the score of your past papers doesn't help us know your readiness- just what your specific teacher thought.

To assess your readiness for the CLEP exam, you need to take CLEP practice tests.

You can use Peterson's ($20 for 3 online timed exams) and if you are scoring in the 70% range on all 3 of those, I'd say you are ready.
