Yes, for some of us that reading is our strongest ability this test is a piece of cake, but for others like my son it is a nightmare. How about another humanities test like intro to sociology or intro to psychology. I think intro to sociology is one of the easiest to study for and easiest to pass. I strongly advise you t rethink taking this test and find another.
Sociology and Psychology are Social Sciences exams, but there are definitely other exams to take if they make you more comfortable. If you are still on the English related path then DSST Technical Writing may be your exam. Otherwise CLEP exams include: Lit exams, Language exams, and the Humanities exam. DSST adds in: Art of the western world, public speaking, technical writing, ethics in america, and world religions.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
