TAMUC BAAS Organizational Leadership - Only 15 Classes To Go!

Fantastic! This degree keeps getting better and better. If that’s the case then the BAAS will be super easy to plan out for new folks.

I wonder if the same holds true for their other 3 competency degrees?

How did they handle Sophia's Human Biology class? It looks like they maybe didn't count it as part of the science requirement?

I have been working on updating the Wiki degree plans today. I did add a note to the TAMUC degree saying they don't take ACE, then reverted it back to the original.

So I'll assume the CBE programs aren't affected.

The first Wiki for TAMUC was done after a student completed the program.

We could make another one for general studies once someone completes the program or finds enough information on it.

My wife is currently in the TAMUC Genereral Studies CBE program. It has the same core requirements and elective requirements as BAAS ORGL. The content for the major is mostly electives, with just a few required classes.

Advanced Electives: 24
Applied Major Courses: 12
GSCB 301
Pathways, Purpose, Exploration and Career
GSCB 402
Innovative Design for Problem Solving
GSCB 404
Leveraging Diversity in Design and Leadership
GSCB 405
Capstone: Designing Your Future as an Innovative Leader
Last semester when she started we took 1 class together, and she completed the same 2 classes that I used for my upper level electives in BAAS ORGL.

I can post what classes she took once she finishes the BGS program.

Completed:
TAMUC BAAS Org Leadership
SJC AAS Automotive Technology

Hi there, did your wife finish her program? Do you have a degree plan to share?

I do not have a plan to share. This program is basically the same setup as BAAS Org Leadership.
There are 42 hours of core classes, and you have to take 36 hours of upper level classes at TAMUC.
The remaining classes are electives, just like BAAS Org Leadership.

On the Gen Studies page https://www.tamuc.edu/programs/general-s...ion-307935
They list 12 hours of courses you must take for the degree, the other 24 hours are upper level electives you take at TAMUC, they give you a list of classes to pick from, none of those are the classes in Org Leadership.

https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan
Look at the WIKI for BAAS Orgl Leadership, the same 42 hours of core classes apply.
The only difference would be replacing the applied major courses with:
BGS 401
Globalization
3
BGS 402
Research Methods
3
BGS 404
Organizational Dynamics and Diversity
3
BGS 405
Capstone: Designing Your Future As An Innovative Leader
3

The remaining courses are from a list of electives that your advisor sends you. You still end up taking a minimum of 36 hours at TAMUC just like you do with the BAAS Orgl Leadership program.

My wife and I both graduated May of 24' She graduated with her BGS degree, and I graduated with the BAAS Organizational Leadership degree.

Completed:
TAMUC BAAS Org Leadership
SJC AAS Automotive Technology
