The course is super boring and its the first one I'm wanting to give up on. Are there any other courses on Sophia, Saylor, SL or Coursera that would cover BUS 220 Managerial Accounting at UMPI?

It's only $5 to try but I warn you, it's not a easy exam at all. The SDC course isn't that bad, but Managerial Accounting has a lot of formulas and equations that you need to know and understand. Give it a shot though.

I've finished the quizzes and assignments but I feel like I haven't retained a whole lot of information since I found the course to be super tedious and boring. Whats the best approach to passing this exam? Re-take quizzes? Practice exams?
And are we allowed to sue calculators in the exam?

Whats the best approach to passing this exam? Re-take quizzes? Practice exams? SDC Proctored Exams are super straightforward and not that tough to study for. Just do the end of chapter practice tests and the Practice Final Exam over and over again until you can consistently score greater than 85%. If you can score 85-95% on the practice exam, you can confidently be assured that you can get at least a 70% on the procotored exam. Don't forget to print out the Accounting 301 Formula Sheet, and have a couple of black sheets of paper and a pen/pencil to calculate some of the answers. And no, you cannot use your own calculator. There is one provided in the testing software but it sucks and takes a bit to get used to. I used it during the practice exam in order to get used to the way it works so that I didn't waste time trying to figure it out during the actual exam. Good luck!

Don't over think things and sweat it... If you've taken any courses at Study.com, you'll know that for lower level, the quizzes are 33.3% of your grade and the final is worth 66.6% of the grade, for upper level, it's 33.3% for quizzes, 33.3% for the final, 33.3% for the assignments. If you get a good enough grade for the quizzes and assignments, you can pass the course with a very mediocre final. Don't stress over it, prepare by completing the quizzes, assignments, and the practice exams, chapter exams, etc.

To echo what was said here, since the Study.com UL courses lessen the impact of the proctored exam by having it only count for a third of your overall grade, it takes some of the sting out of the exam. You could always review the material you may not be as fresh on, but if you have been doing well with the quizzes, you should be okay. Make sure you put your best effort into the assignments!

According to the database, looks like your choices are InstaCert ICCM 0011, Straighterline OOSL 0033, Saylor's SAYA 0009, and Study.COM's SDC 0077. BUS 220's not in my degree plan so I can't speak personally on it.

Yeah, you should check the database and the WIKI to see what options are there... Saylor.org and StraighterLine have options for example. I wouldn't skip the Study.com option just because it's boring though, it'll be equally boring on any platform or ACE provider, it's practically the same course with very similar content.

InstaCert has not been an option for quite some time. Probably over a year now since they stopped offering ACE courses.

Saylor BUS105 will likely be the quickest path to completing that requirement.
