Hello, I’ve been working my way to enrolling at UMPI though Sophia and just discovered the Pierpont BOG AAS. I wanted to get advice as to if I’m wasting my time pursuing the AAS. My completed classes so far are as follows:
English Comp 1 - Ivy Tech
Business Law
College Algebra
Financial Accounting
Human Biology
Intro to Business
Intro to Psychology
Applied Probability and Statistics
Macroeconomics
Microeconomics
Principles of finance
Principles of management
Project Management
US History 1
Visual Communications (Humanities)
Intro to Sociology
Intro to Ethics
Environmental Science
Workplace Communication
Art History
US Government
English is the only class through Ivy Tech, the rest are through Sophia. I know I’ll need a computer science class but would that be all that I need?
Thank you in advance.

Pierpont BOG requires 15 credits for the core. Then the rest can be electives of whatever you want for a total of 60 credits required.
Note you also need 1 RA credit:
" Currently, the cheapest, easiest & fastest way to meet this requirement is with ASU's 1-credit course CIS-194: Business Technology Fundamentals for $25. Coming in second place is the free Clackamas CC credit. Although free, the Clackamas course has limited availability and is not self-paced. If you don't have the good fortune to be able to take this class, the ASU course is recommended.
TEL Learning also has a $67 College Readiness course that should work. While self-paced, this course has a proctored exam with scheduling that could slow down course completion."
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Would the Ivy Tech credit count as an RA credit?

Yes, that would. Then you don't need any more RA credit.

Just knocked out Intro to IT at Sophia. See any gaps or reason to be concerned?
Also, I still plan to keep taking more courses towards a Bachelors at UMPI. Should I take my biology lab before sending my credits in for evaluation at Pierpont or will UMPI be ok with it as long as I take the lab at some point before the UMPI evaluation? I just didn’t know if it would transfer weird to UMPI when I’m ready or if I’m overthinking it.

You have all the credits you need for Pierpont, so go ahead and send those in and get your degree! And ask for an Emphasis in Business if you want, you have the credits for that as well.
If you have time, and you want to take a course, you MIGHT want to take Comp II at Sophia - it's more work than UMPI, but frees you up to take more courses there in the major when you enroll. But this is optional. If you don't want to, then keep taking enough courses to complete your Free Electives. You should get as many credits as possible now while you're paying for it.

Thank you, I keep debating about English Comp II but I'm definitely going to take Spanish, Bio lab, and a couple more quick electives. I would like to start my evaluation soon in hopes to start during the July session.

Yes, take up to 90 credits from Sophia.org to go towards both the Pierpont BOG AAS and also the UMPI degree of your choice. You should create a spreadsheet for reference and to track your progress at UMPI and/or BOG AAS. Make sure to take all your credits from the AAS, and make sure they will go towards the UMPI degree, so you really don't have to track Pierpont if you don't want to...
