-Intro to IT 3cr
-Environmental Science 3cr
-U.S. History 1 3cr

There’s 21 credits worth of courses that I, or my daughter have taken that weren’t that bad. Some of them were really fast. By that point you’ll be able to figure out the rest. I left out anything under 3 credits, but if they accept foundations of statistics (2cr), you could do that one and either essentials of managing conflict or developing effective teams to add up to 3cr’s quickly.
Honestly the BEST thing to do would be to apply, have them evaluate your current transcripts, then ask Nancy what requirements you still have, and knock out whatever they are and then just go after anything that looks fast to you (usually courses without touchstones) for your free electives. The second best is to list out what you already have here, so these guys can give you a better guess.
If it were me, and I had 30 credits already, I’d pick an end goal Bachelors, apply (if you want to go with UMPI, list it out here instead of applying there, because it’s been reported that you want to transfer everything in at once), see what you need, then hit Sophia hard to fill in those gaps. That’ll give you the 30 credits you need for Pierpont, and set you up to decide if you want to go further with the Bachelors.
Intrigued to see the Sophia Intro to Web Development course in this list of easy college credits. Do you know, or anyone know, if the (Sophia) Intro to Web Development transfers into TESU? And what it transfers in as? Also, on the Sophia website it doesn't show any Touchstones attached to this course, is that still true? Thanks in advance for the info! The wiki shows it as N/A for TESU.

There were no touchstones as of a couple of months ago. Another night owl, haha. Thanks for the info!
yeah. I work rotating shifts, so my schedule is all over the place. lol

I am most likely going to to go for the AAS at Pierpont.
I already have over 30 RA credits.
So,
going to Sophia.org is the best, fastest, and cheapest way to complete the AAS,
is what I was advised.
What is a couple courses that I can finish fast at Sophia?
rachel83az Wrote:Without knowing what you have and where your skills lie, all we can do is point at https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/So...lency_List and say that the courses without touchstones are usually easiest.
Honestly, what Rachel83AZ said. It's in addition to what I mentioned in my previous posts in this thread #3 and #7... To add to those posts, the link provided above will give you the number of Quizzes, Exams, Assignments for Sophia.org courses. You do the math, which course has the least of everything in the subjects you have most interest in is "fastest".
BTW, I'm not sure why you asked about RA credits, then now asking about Sophia.org... You already have a thread for that... By going in circles you'll just confuse yourself, it's best to "stick" on topic, if this is for RA, keep it that way, if it's for ACE/Alternative credit, refer back to your thread here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ons--40086

Depends if the school accepts the transfer credits. What are you looking at? You will have to take probably 30 credits at each school for each degree.

Most schools require at least 25% of the courses be done there.
Not sure why you'd want to do this though?

@midnite123, yes you can. The majority of schools will require a minimum of 25%, many will need up to 50% of the degree completed through them. So, as mentioned, it all depends on the school and the reason you're going for another associates. Some people may want a secondary concentration, focus, emphasis, minor or whatever you're looking at... otherwise, if you're going further into higher education, I would skip it in favor for a Bachelors, unless you get the two associates free on route to your two bachelors, meaning no extra courses, costs, time put into it.

You'll also need X% of NEW credits. It depends on the policy at the individual school. So, for instance, if you got a CS Associate with a lot of History electives at one school, you could not then go to a 2nd school and automatically get a History Associate. You would probably need a number of brand new History credits before they'd award you the degree.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Exactly, further to that, I would recommend this, for example someone is going for a Bachelors in Environmental Studies or Environmental Science at University of Phoenix (again as an example). If they would like an associates, I would get something in say, an Associates in Computer Science and a second Associates in Math.
This way, their main goal is Environmental, but if they ever wanted to add to the resume, they're somewhat specialized in CS and Math, so if they would want to go into Environmental Studies and add a concentration in GIS or something similar, they'll already have the CS/Math requirements to excel in that concentration or sub field.
