ASU adds a new class: CIS 405 Business Intelligence(Bus. Cert now available)

As I predicted, ASU UL has now added CIS 405 Business Intelligence which makes the Applied Business Data Analytics Certificate fully achievable via ASU UL/EA. At full sticker price, the cert would be 6 * $425 = $2550.

When I originally looked into this certificate program and inquired with ASU about it, the response I got said I'd have to apply to ASU and take courses the traditional(expensive) way. After looking around the site again I see that they did add a page about achieving this cert via only the ASU EA/ULC program which makes sense since all the required courses are available via that program.

The certificate looks like just any Coursera certificate tbh.



Even if you add this on your resume, it won't look any better than Coursera or Edx certificate.
I'd say, it's too expensive for that lol

That's a certificate for a specific niche, they're available to those who want to have a certificate from a reputable university. Coursera, edX certs are great options as well if they've partnered with a college/university. Otherwise, the certs that grant ACE credits with partnerships with Google/IBM are another option... otherwise, they'll be used just for entry level knowledge and used to get their foot in the door.
