That Google IT course gives you 12 and another 3 credit course will get your area of emphasis in Information Systems. That's what I got. Matter of fact today is my graduation date.
Congrats! Must be a great feeling!

Agreed - I think an Info Systems AOS has the greatest utility in terms of applicability for jobs, and 12 credits for the Google IT cert cannot be beat.
I wonder if the TEEX Cybersecurity courses can be used as well?
I did have the Sophia IT as well as some TEEX stuff. I had like 18 credits that could fit in the area of emphasis. They counted every single ACE credit that I sent.

I just emailed Nancy Parks to see about getting my degree. If she says I don't have enough for this concentration, I guess I'll spend another $15 on the old ACE transcripts and transfer in my TEEX credits (unless TEEX gets back to me first about getting them on the new Acclaim system). $15 is worth it.
I already heard back from Nancy Parks! That was fast. I have to contact someone else about a graduation application (just did that). I do get to have an Info Systems AOS. The courses that apply to my GE portion are (according to the degree audit I just got):
Communications:
Visual Communications
English Comp I
Social Science:
Intro to Psychology
Intro to Sociology
Math/Science:
College Algebra
Foundations of College Algebra
Computer Literacy:
Information Literacy (SDC Library Science 101)
Of note, both visual communications and information literacy show on the Pierpont transcript as coming in as "free electives" (per the course numbers) but they were accepted for the core requirements anyway.
In progress: TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed: Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

That's good to know! I saw the same thing and was worried about it, whereas Nancy Parks said it would be no problem. Evidently she can look at the eval and choose to accept electives toward the core requirement, but that does not cause the ROAR academic transcript to be updated.
You need 15 IT credits for the Info Systems AOS, correct?
Would you mind sharing exactly what was accepted towards that AOS for you?
The degree audit doesn't show exactly what went into that concentration. It only lists core and then 39 hours of electives. What I have under electives:
Old The Instututes Ethics - 2 credits
Google IT certificate - 3 + 3 + 6 credits
Sophia:
Art History I - 3 credits
Approaches to Studying Religions - 3 credits
Human Biology - 3 credits
Introduction to Statistics - 3 credits
Accounting - 3 credits
Microeconomics - 3 credits
Macroeconomics - 3 credits
Project Management - 3 credits
Introduction to Business - 3 credits
Foundations of Statistics - 2 credits
ASU:
Human Origins - 3 credits
Astronomy - 3 credits
Western Civilization - 3 credits
Based on the courses listed for the regular AAS Information Systems degree ( https://www.pierpont.edu/ac/programs/inf...technology ) I would guess it was Google Certificate + one or more of the business courses (principles of management is a required info systems course there) but I didn't ask.

They accepted my TEEX Cyber Security for Bus Professionals as BUSN 1999, Cyber Security for Everyone as INFO 1999 and Cyber Security for IT professionals as INFO 1999.

Thanks for the update. I checked my sister's unofficial transcript on ROAR and it looks like they applied their academic forgiveness policy for her graduation GPA. Hopefully that is some good news. Still says Pending: AAS though.
Well I checked the unofficial transcript info on ROAR today and this came up (see attached). So it looks like it's official. If any of you applied to graduate this term definitely check it out.
