Does anyone know of a way to get credit for Amateur Radio (Ham) License? I have a level 1 license and it would good if I could get some credits.

That is a great question. I looked for that a while back, but I did not find any source of credit for that. If anyone knows of any, I will be following.

Excelsior and COSC have similar lists if you search. You may be able to inquire with your college if they would be willing to award you credit for that license.

It can be used as a piece of evidence in a portfolio evaluation. If you search the PLA database for "amateur radio," ELC-211 shows up:
FCC Radio Communication (Amateur)(ELC-211)3.00 s.h.
Principles of radio transmission and reception as related to the Amateur Radio Service. Theory, operating practices, Morse Code, F.C.C. regulations and licensing procedures are covered.
BSBA/Accounting TESU (2016). MSA UIUC (2018).
Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here: Intermediate Accounting II.

PLA is not something I have even done. I have always stuck with ACE, however I should consider doing so, and maybe save some money.

If there's a cheap ACE option, that's usually your best bet.

There actually might be more tests than that list because they divide them in strange ways. Here is a more complete list from the NCCRS page:

When I originally read your post, I thought that this was the most likely place for this kind of credit, but no. There is no ham radio test in the list. There are a few that are tangential to the subject and your background might give you an edge.
Not everybody takes NCCRS credit, but I have always thought that this is an excellent source of credit for someone. I haven't taken any of these tests, but there is some good stuff here.

I wouldn't do a PLA for free elective credit. There are many cheaper and faster options.

Agreed. If you just need free elective credit, first exhaust all the free sources from the guide, then consider easier and/or cheaper options like OD, CLEP/MS, Saylor, TECEP, etc.
