I'm considering UMUC (university of Maryland university college ) for graduate school.
The Master of Science in information technology with a software engineering specialization.
Any recommendations, warnings, or advises.

Charter Oak State College seems legit enough.
Thomas Edison State University is a bit odd, though not much different from Western Governors University.

What's odd about TESU? Thomas Edison was a very famous American inventor, who lived and worked in NJ. Makes sense that they would name a college after him. There are LOTS of colleges named after people (Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Brown, Cornell - were all named after people).

It's probably the fact that they used the full name. Had it been just "Edison State University" it would sound a little less like a middle school.

Haha! You're right. And, I just happened to go to Louis Pasteur Jr. High School, which immediately came to mind when you said that.
