Ok, I have about 25 hours of actual study time for "Civil War & Reconstruction", and I've watched all 11 hours of Ken Burns "Civil War". I know IC inside and out and yet I'm still shy about taking this test..... I have it scheduled for 5/10.
Insight anyone??????

I also find it very helpful to print the questions so I can study when I am not near a computer. Frankly, I didn't know if we were supposed to copy them. At any rate, when I have copied some sporadically, I have done so one question at a time. Is there a quicker way to print out the questions?

You sound prepared enough just know that DANTES questions and answers are often phrased in a somewhat less than straight forward way so keep on your toes.
I watched the videos twice so perhaps between now and the 10th you can take a look at the again too.

Cold - you've got it, um, "cold." There's no way you can miss on this one if you've done all that prep work. You'll do totally fine. We'll all be sending you good civil war vibes on Wednesday.

I'll take all I can get... This is the only DSST test I need to take. I still have ECE Org Behavior and ECE Ethics. Everyone's insight on the forum has been more then helpful.
Best of luck to everyone

Sounds like you're in the home stretch! OB will be easy with InstaCert. Ethics is doable but was not as easy (at least for me). I recommend Excelsior's practice tests for that one. You'll see case studies that are on the test, which helps time-wise.

Joanne,
I actually took your advice about the practice exams for Ethics. I purchesed the two exams about a week ago. The way I see it, every bit helps. If all goes well, I should have the three tests done by the end of June.
Thanks once again for you help

Oh good, I hope you find them as helpful as I did. 3 by the end of June~not too shabby!! Good luck! Be sure to post your results - and your thoughts on the exams.

I am preparing to study for the DSST tests on Finance and Statistics. Can anyone tell me which one would be better to start with? I haven't taken any DSST tests yet, but I have taken 18 CLEP tests... so any advice regarding differences between the CLEP and DSST tests will be helpful.
I'll be taking the computer-based versions of the DSST tests. Can anyone tell me if a calculator is allowed for the computer-based version? I took your advice to get the BA II plus, so I hope it's allowed!
Thanks!!
Christa
