Just to let everyone know that I passed Social Science and history "65". I was really worried about this one because of the broad content base. However, the test is very straight forward. No need to get into great detail. I know that many of the students will do the US history and Western Civilization exams prior to this one. There is no need to. It is a 6 credit course. I studied for 2 weeks using learner.org, Cracking the Clep book and Petersons. I also skimmed through the IC material. All of these things combined was enough to pass. GOOD LUCK!!

I am taking the HTYH DSST today and I am contemplating taking the CLEP Social Science and History test while I am there. I haven't studied for it and usually wouldn't take a test cold, but I have to drive an hour each way to the test site. Also, I have taken Psych (clep), Sociology (clep), US History 1 (clep), Ed. Psych (clep) all in the past 6 months as well as western religions and macroeconomics through TESC. I got above 60 on all of these clep tests and A's in both classes. Any suggestions on just taking the test?
