I'm aware that there is an onscreen calculator, but the only material that collegeboard had that simulates the test (that I'm aware of) is on a 16-bit program that my computer will not run. I have a Ti-36x pro and I'm not sure how much I should learn to use it, because I don't know what will be available on it that won't be available on the test calculator. I actually don't even know how to do simple things like choose the "b" in a "logb(x)" calculation on a calculator and I don't know if there is some standard way of doing this, or it varies by calculator, or if there are instructions about this somewhere, or what. I don't know if the test will allow me to do things like calculate a number "to the (whatever number) root."
Can anyone who has taken the college algebra CLEP or has relevant material give some insight?
