Are there multiple versions of a CLEP tests/

i was wondering if there are multiple versions of a clep tests. i took the chem clep last week and because of a problem with the test i have to take it over. Questions where not aligning up with answers, (its ok with me cause after 20 questions, i knew i was going to fail it.) i read on here that others said it was more concept based, but i had almost all math based questions. it never even asked me about the structure of the atom or anything about terms. there where prob 10 questions that had to do with anything other then figuring out rate, heat, moles, etc.... so i was wondering if there are multiple versions of the tests? any one know?

There has to be tens if not hundreds of different versions of the same exam. If there wasn't cheating would be an epidemic.

i figured that. i was just so shocked to have such an extreme in tests. usually it is similar with what others have posted on here. thanks

When developing a standardized test, a test bank of many questions is created. Expect a test bank to have at least three times as many questions as what the examinees take. With a 3x test bank, your test is not going to be a random third. The questions are categorized into topical groups and maybe even subgroups. You'll get questions from each grouping. High volume tests such as the SAT and MCAT may have larger test banks because of a larger development budget.
