Precalculus Credit Requirement
#1
Hello, I was wondering what is the best way to fill the Thomas Ediston precaulcus or quantitive anaylsis credits.I have taken the intro to mathematics clep, but I don't think that covers this area. I have a Clep REA book for the precalcus test, but Im not great at math. Would an aleks course be any easier?

I think an ALEKS course is a fast an easy alternative, I finished it in a month working about 30 minutes a day in my free time

I agree aleks is the way to go. 20$ for as many clases as you can get done in a month, max I have got was 3 classes, 3classes for 4 months it saved me. Clep will not allow you to retest right away. Aleks. Gave me so far 5 classes= 15 credits or 1 term. I have 2 pending still and 2 possilble other classes, I never have to do math again if I don't want to. To save money, and most important your time use aleks find. The videos online for the math problems, or plug in equations and knock em out.
Beginning algebra- ALEKS
Intermediate algebra- ALEKS
College algebra-ALEKS
Precalculus-ALEKS
Intro to statistics-ALEKS
Trigonometry-Aleks
Business statistics-Aleks

BTW TESC will accept ALEKS Trigonometry as fulfilling the Pre-calculus requirement, so technically you don't even need to complete pre-cal to complete pre-cal... Smile
