Oh wise and kind people's of instantcert. Please give me some sage advise on how best to meet 9 hours of electives in math and science. I dislike both areas. I have not been in college for 36 years. I have not gone beyond geometry in math and physical science in science. these are in fact the last two areas for me to test out of , but I could easily qualify as mildly deficent in these areas. I cannot avoid them any longer and they are a true..true.. true stumbling block on my road to graduation.. I sincerely need and am asking for any "resourceful" ideas you can offer. My college, Thomas Edison will not accept Dantes business math and God knows Iam now thoroughly frustrated, concerned , and Praying alot!! Ideas??????

Hi, I was wondering what people who have taken this test have used for study aids, other than InstantCert of course. I've bought one of the recomended books, but I was wondering if there is a helpful study guide out there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, came to this board again as you have so much experience with Excelsior.

I have about 60 credits by now and looking to transfer there. I would like to get my AS before I get my BS. I checked the Excelsior website and I have one exam left (Dantes statistics) before I meet the AS requirements.

My question is: do I enroll now as an AS student (and pay the AS fee of almost $1000) to get my AS and then one month later (after I get my AS) enroll as a BS student (and pay the BS fee)? Or do I wait until I have about 80 credits to enroll for my BS? If I go for that last option, will they still give me my AS degree?

Can someone explain this math problem to me?



The Official CLEP Study Guide says the answer is A. I thought the answer was C, though. I can't figure out why the answer is A. Can someone explain this to me or point me to a web site that explains this? I'm not a math guy, but this one seemed easy to me.

In addition instantcert I have been taking the free online petersen's mock exams to prepare for my upcomong American government clep exam, I was wondereing has anyone here used these mock exams and has it helped them along with instantcert to do well on the actual clep exam?

On the DANTES Principles of Statistics review section: Question 15 in the Correlation topic.

The correct answer is "0" but the software rejects "0" as an answer. It only accepts "0."

Hey everyone im taking the college algebra clep in about 2 weeks does anyone have any suggestions on some good study tips?? and why hasent a instant cert course been made for this subject??

I recommend offering a discount for people review questions after taking the test. I took "Rise and Fall of Soviet Union" provided some feedback but there is no reason for me to go back and review the questions.

While I believe that this forum would be an improper place, an email review to the site admin with "yes, no, don’t remember," and additional questions could greatly increase accuracy of this site.

I'm studying for the American govt clep exam and I'm using the american government cliff notes book as a supplement. Has anyone here just used just instantcert to pass this exam? Thanks

I want to apologize to steve for the comments I made about the material that he has put togather. I let my anxiety about these test get the best of me. What happens is I take these paper based test and wont know the results for four weeks building up anxiety about wheter I passed or not. I passed US history 1 with the help of instancert and the collegeboard study guide and took US history 2 clep exam on Mar 8th and still dont know my results. I will be taking American govt clep exam on April 15th, someone that took this test reccomended that I use instantcert, pinkmonkey, and passyourclass, but I purchased the american govt cliff notes which I will use instead of pinmonkey. This american govt cliff notes book has recieved great reviews on amazon.com so check it out. I also wnat to apologize to listmanager as well.I will be taking the American govt clep exam at a local college via Computer. This is a test that is not paper based, my military eso never told me about this luckliy I found this info on the Dantes website.
