I would like to find out from others, what their deepest thoughts or feelings are on Instacert. I know almost everyone on in this forum if not everyone agrees that IC is second to none!

Instancert in my own words

For me IC is better than stocks or options. The return on Investment is a hundred fold. To justify my opinion; It took me 7th months to get 15 credits at UoP and almost over $5000-$7500 in student loans.

I read about CLEP and Dantes on UOP student page. I learnt this could help me get my BS degree in about just a little over three years, since I had 0 credits that is if I did not take any breaks in between.
I was excited about this good news, UOP could take a maximum of 30 Clep or Dantes Exams towards a BS degree.
With all the joy and the possibilities of earning a college degree in about three year, I enrolled at UOP and class began on August 28th 2006.

In Persuit of study materials of CLEP exams that could help me finish my degree in a short Period of three years (2010 to be specific), I stubbed upon IC on Google.

It has been like having a share in the Gold Rush Era, making a very rear investment which is more than a Cash Cow (Marketing students).

IC for me has made up for the opportunity I missed in Investing in Google stock or Microsoft (remember this is in my own words).

In the past I had started college more than three times and never made it through a semester. My interest would just vanish before the end of semester (until UoP) hence 0 credits the time I was enrolling at UOP. …..I might also want to attribute this dropping out to lack of funds, but I wont because I once lived in California were in 2003 state college was less than $30 per three credit unit course if my memory saves me right.....

I mention this to say IC goes beyond being an investment that generates great profit. It is through IC that I found out that it is possible to finish College degree in Less than One year. which at first I thought it was too good to be true, and you know what they say "if it is too good to be true, keep away from it, because its just that "too good to be true"
I immediately transferred to EC, (first time ever hearing about the Big three).

After deep thoughts I have come to tie IC to the words I read and I quote
"LOVE is strong; LOVE can make a sick man well and a health man sick. It is LOVE that took Christ to the cross and the same LOVE that raised him from the dead"
And in my own words I say it is the Love on IC Forum (remember they are several types of Love, but Love is just that; Love) that has keps me going, it is Love and support on this great site that had encouraged me to earn over 40 credits through Exam in just about 4 few Months without owing nobody a cent. (what a liberating feeling) Indeed IC is strong and great!!

I liken IC to an Employee verses a Self Employed person, IC is like the self employed person the benefits to numerous to mention!!!

"Success is having lived Life under your own terms" IC has made me this true in my Life "Earning a degree under my on terms" The power of Credits by Exams.
Sorry for writing so much, I just had to get half of my feelings on IC out of my chest before I could burst; to people who at least can relate even a little bit.

I could not find anything posted on the forum regarding a policy that Excelsior has regarding computer certification/courses being granted Upper Level Business credit.

I recently enrolled at EC for the General Business Degree and according to my Status Report I was awarded Upper level bussiness credit for the Dsst MIS test and one Microsoft Certification 70-219. 3 credits each for a total of 6. Now according to the Student Guide to Credit by Exam I have 3 other MS tests that would be UL at 2 each and Network+ at 2 UL credits.

I sent an email to the advisor asking about them:

Hey Everyone. I live in southern Arkansas. How can I find out if anyone in my surrounding area offers the business math clep? The university I usually test at does not offer it. I'm down to my last few classes.

Any tips on studying this? I plan on taking it the test Monday the 6th.....I am very nervous about this...I have a job interview the next day... :o I have no experience or interest in the Business field. How much is it common sense. Any techniques...?

I have just come from CLEP Principles of Marketing Exams.

This is the first Exam I run out of time completely. The Exam ended when I was on question 90, My heart was skipping beats, I was sweating and my hands were shaking, and the reality was I had run out of time period, with 10 more questions let to answer.

The problem was not that the Exam was to hard, the problem was it was too wordy with alot of senario questions that you had to understand. I was feeling good about the exam but was getting worried looking at the watch.

To make the Long story shorter, I quickly clicked through those question they ask at the end of the Clep exam without even reading, them I don't know why I was in a hurry when I knew I had failed.

I clicked report Score, and there was a Bolded sweet[SIZE="7"] 54,[/SIZE] my goodness, I cried. I know its not a big score for alot of people, but you had to be in my shoes to know what I am talking about

I am still shaking, but I passed, my advise to people who will be talking this exam please be very mindful of time, usually in other Exams have 20 -30 minutes to spear, but not this one.

As other have said before me, IC is enough, I also used REA practice Exams.
There were more question on International trade and Markets than on IC, and Internet, but most of them they required common sense

For those that are attending or have graduated from the Master's program at CCU, I was wondering if you could answer a few questions about it for me, as I am seriously considering taking courses through them. I would like to take the Masters in Business Administration, and am looking to start this time next year. They are relatively inexpensive as opposed to other universities, which is a pretty big consideration for me.

Are the exams difficult to pass?

Who do you use for a proctor? Does it have to be an employer or can it be a friend?

From the information I have read, they are nationally accredited, but does your employer or other colleagues recognize this university as being somewhat reputable or have they even heard of them at all?

About how fast can I finish if I take the 13 course route? Can it be completed in 6 months, or is that too aggressive of a goal?

I just received the catalog (I enrolled las week) it comes with an addendum that says: Beggining Sept 1st. 2007, all students enrolled in a Liberal Arts major with the exception of Math, must satisfy the Research and Writing in the Majors requirement, this can be fulfilled many ways.
Excelsior offers LA 490,1 credit course after which you need to produce an 8 page paper in your discipline.
If I am reading this right this requirement is for those going for a major and it will not apply to those that opted for no major......?

I would love any of your all's opinion. I have 6 credits left and I will have accomplished by BS in Management.

One of the classes I have chosen to take is Drug and Alcohol Abuse.

I need advise on what to take for my last class.

Because this is my second time in college, I have quite a limited choice of classes.
