It appears they’ve introduced a new degree offering that may interest some here. The curriculum is notably more math-intensive than other WGU programs, even the CS degree. Seems like an interesting option for anyone interested in this realm. The first cohort starts in July.
(WGU’s Bachelor of Science in AI Engineering is built to help you do both.
This online artificial intelligence engineering degree goes beyond theory, teaching you how to apply AI in real-world environments. You’ll learn how to build AI-enabled applications, deploy models into production, and manage the systems that keep them running at scale.
Instead of focusing on isolated experiments or concepts, this program is centered on how AI actually works in practice—inside software, systems, and infrastructure. By the time you graduate, you’ll be prepared to contribute to AI projects where the goal isn’t just understanding the technology but putting it to work.
You’ll Learn How To:
- Design and deploy AI and machine learning systems
- Integrate AI into real-world applications
- Build scalable AI infrastructure and pipelines
- Automate workflows and optimize performance
- Apply ethical AI and governance principles
- Work across software, data, and cloud environments)

What are the easiest and maybe fastest online colleges for a bachelor's in coding?

What are the easiest online colleges, and maybe fast or fastest, for a 2nd bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or software development, or something else that'll let you get a remote software engineer (backend of full stack) or frontend developer job?
Ideally doesn't have any group work (discussion posts are okay) and no proctored tests.
And maybe you can bring me a lot of credits from Sophia, Study.com, and stuff like that, and finish in 3 semesters (including summer) or less, while working full time, easily. Though thes fastest you can finish the better.
Thank you for your help.

Ok - I did it! So what's next? (Theology vs. PhD in Law)

Good morning everyone,
I did it - I just finished my first online degree. Handed in my Master-Thesis on sunday and finished my final examination at the Faculty of Law at Hagen University (Germany). Finished my last exam with 90% or 1,3 (which is roughly A-range in US-Grades) this morning (YAY!).
So the big question is, what to do next, while I wait for them to grade my thesis. It was a research-based master’s thesis based on qualitative interviews, so it might take them some time. However I don't want to wait till they are done.
I'm currently thinking of 2 options: First is to follow up my Masterthesis with a PhD in the same toppic. Unfortunately I can only get enrolled after they graded my Master's, so starting to work on that PhD is a bit tricky. Might risk to find no teacher who is willing to take me as a student.
2nd option is pursuing anotzer Masters. This time not law, but at a Methodist University, a Master in Spirituallity. This would be more a personal point of interest, I'm not sure if it would help my career. But it would be a nice change for the next 2 years and I could start right now, since I allready have an undergraduate degree.
So what would you do? It is a big decission...

TransferMate payment processing time & May 7 deadline anxiety - Will I be dropped?

Hey everyone,
I’m a newly admitted YourPace student and I’m a bit stressed about the upcoming tuition deadline (May 7th).
Because my transfer credit report was finalized a bit late, I only got my advisor assigned and received my $1,800 bill on April 30th. I immediately initiated the payment through TransferMate on May 1st.
However, TransferMate says it takes 5-7 business days to process international payments. I’m worried that the funds won't officially hit UMPI's bank account or update in MaineStreet by the May 7th deadline.
I’ve already emailed SFS and my advisor (Abbi Frost) with my "Successful Payment" PDF receipt from TransferMate to show that I initiated the payment before the deadline.
Has anyone else been in this situation with international payments? Will they drop my classes if the system doesn't show a $0 balance by the 7th, even though I have proof of initiating the payment?
Any reassurance or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Because we always wonder here when a facility will get accredited, etc., I wanted to say that Saylor begins their DEAC submission "around September" of this year. Submission, I said, this doesn't mean they'll be DEAC in September, but they should begin the process around then.
Global Tech College will also begin DEAC paperwork "in the next year".
This was said to me by administration of both, take it for what it is worth.
Also, both have also said that it is a step toward RA accreditation in the future for them.

Lawshelf.com used to get recommended on here a lot because it was $35 per NCCRS 3-credit-recommended course, and you could view the course videos without paying. I looked at the website today and now its $240 per course, and there doesn't look like there's a way to even preview a course now, much less view the videos for free.
Oh well!
