AAS other than Pierpont ? |

Hello,
I would like to know if there is any AAS where you can transfer all 60 credits (or satisfy all requirements with just transfer credits) other than Pierpont ?
I haven't graduated HS yet but I have credits from UoPeople (2 courses), Sophia (around 13 courses now) and Coursera (some 50 to 60ish credits).
The pierpont one requires being out of high school for atleast a year, and I really need an AAS.
Thank you

Udacity Data Analyst Nanodegree |

In the WGU BSDA program, the Udacity Data Analyst Nanodegree (UDAN) is part of the WGU curriculum. There are 6 projects in the UDAN. Do all UDAN 6 projects make up 1 WGU class, or multiple WGU classes? Or are only some of the 6 UDAN projects done within the WGU curriculum? I'm getting ready to start D496 which uses material from the UDAN. It would be great if the UDAN let me finish off several WGU classes in one shot (or 6 little shots).
Oh, I see in the D496 material it uses 2 of the 6 projects, so that seems to be the answer.

Quick Tech Q re TURNITIN -
Does anyone use this?
Is it worth messing with?
Does anyone run / has anyone ran any other AI / plagiarism checkers?
I use Grammarly for, well, grammar and find those darned sentences in passive voice that plague me. I ignore the other suggestions.
I most certainly don't use any AI to write my documents, but maybe I should be checking my work with something. Thoughts?
Thanks bunches.

Best advised route towards Counseling licensed LPC, LSW or other similar path |

I thank you and other users such as the moderators and super moderators but I will not make mention of them all on proper and sound guidance. Feel free to PM if you like.
I've been lurking in the forum a bit lately, and I am considering laddering to a counseling program to do LPC in a state such as Texas. Or if possible getting it in Illinois then see what the process is to transfer to Texas. So I haven't seen a clearest outline but I've seen various suggestions whether Walden, Liberty, WNMU, and as well as others.
There were also suggestions leaning towards Social Work/MSW as it's more broad for other kinds of work, but includes disadvantages like not being as streamlined for counseling. Then in the forum there are those that call for CACREP, APA, CSWE and other things but those seem to be more of an issue for the higher levels in the profession which I will consider at a later time.
As I am looking for the fastest, easiest, and cheapest- so far I only see Kairos University as the one that stood out in this forum. Even at that price it still doesn't seem cheap, and the coursework seems to be CBE. Then the practicum hours will be challenging to find remotely, except that I did see a couple schools seem to offer it but those programs are still a very high price.
I don't think the Kairos Masters in counseling they offer will be pastoral related and it claims to meet majority states requirements for licensing. Lastly, I tried reaching them by phone and their was not an answer from any of the numbers but I will try again.
As there are still several hurdles with this career and avenue, I will look into Kairos and see if I can reach them by phone then as there is not much experience with it, and possibly try a course and see how it goes.
What are the top best suggestions for a licensed counselor in this scenario?
Addendum

Seeking Advice on Increasing Financial Aid and Finding Competency-Based Marketing or |

Hi everyone, I just graduated this summer from the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) and have been accepted into their master's program as well. While I’m excited to continue my education at UMPI, they’ve only offered me $15,200 per year, which unfortunately isn’t enough to cover my living expenses. My goal is to focus fully on my studies without working much, so I’m looking for ways to increase this financial aid amount.
Additionally, I’m exploring other master’s programs, especially those in marketing or business, that offer better financial aid packages or scholarships. Ideally, I’m looking for a competency-based program with a strong emphasis on practical learning rather than excessive writing. Does anyone know of such programs that are particularly generous with financial aid and scholarships?
Thank you in advance for any advice or recommendations!

Your experience at California Coast University? Interested in $21k doctorate. |

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I am on the hunt, like many of us, for super affordable, remote doctorate degrees. I don't need the degree, but I want one for myself and my own credentials. My area is business that focuses on publishing for children. I'm mostly hoping to find degrees like a DBA or PhD in Business, but I found my way to this school https://www.calcoast.edu/ed.d.-doctor-of...rship.html California Coast University. $320 a unit for 66 units for an EdD in Organizational Leadership...well, the price is attractive and the degree is aligned enough to what I do in a sense I can make it work. Does anyone have any experience with them?
Also welcoming any recs on programs to consider. I did also look at UofCumberlands but they're up to 36k which, as another underpaid pub professional (tongue in cheek, I LOVE my work, though I'm aware we have a rep for being low paid lol), is a huge chunk of my salary.
Thanks!

Alternatives to Pierpont BOG |

I completed all of the courses at ASU, Sophia, and Coursera as required for the Pierpont Associate Degree in Information Systems.
Because of the sudden reform, I could not continue my studies at Pierpont. I can't get past their Personal authentication system. Because I am Chinese, they did not help me with it. Are there any other cheap associate degrees?

Hello everyone,
Just want to double check my wife’s progress with the new changes to the Pierpont BOG. Is she able to complete the AAS degree at this point with the following credits and nothing more?
Sophia:
Visual Communication (3 credits)
Introduction to Information Technology (3 credits)
Environmental Science (3 credits)
College Algebra (3 credits)
U.S. History I (3 credits)
Coursera:
Real-World Cloud Product Management AWIT (6 credits)
Data Analysis & Visualizations Foundations Specialization (V2) IBM (12 credits)
Google UX Design Professional (10 credits)
Google IT Support Professional (12 credits)
Google AI Essentials
ASU Universal Learner:
Business Technology Fundamentals (1 credits) (RA credit)
Basically I believe she is ready to transfer everything in for the BOG AAS with a specialization in Information Systems, I just want some other degree forum eyes on it to verify that I am not missing anything.
Thanks in advanced!
