Hi! All!
I'm hoping to get a writing course to fulfill the GE requirement for the degree, ASU doesn't offer ENG102 at the moment, so outlier College Writing || seems good to me.
I would like to confirm the transferability of this course, I know it is not the same as the regular course code at the University of Pittsburgh(ENGWRT 0020), so I would like to know if anyone has taken this course?

Welcome to the board, it's great you're asking questions and trying to look for answers. However, you're not providing enough information... such as, which degree are you referring to for the Gen Ed requirements? Is it ASU, U Pitts, another college? If you take a course from Outlier, make sure to do so when they have the 2 for 1 special and also get in contact with the institution you want to transfer to, they have several partner institutions that will take the credits.

Thank you very much for your reply!
I haven't decided on a school I want to transfer to but I'm interested in a state university in uihdao (like uidaho or idaho state) I've submitted my transfer course evaluation but the evaluation takes a month so I'd like some advice.

Some people have reported transferability problems with the Outlier courses because they don't use the same catalog numbers as the "real" courses. I would strongly suggest waiting for the ASU course and just completing other courses in the meantime.
Another option would be the CLEP English Comp exam (free through Modern States). English Comp is probably one of the most widely accepted CLEP exams. Double check that your preferred universities would accept it, though.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Again, your best bet is to contact Outlier.org and also your institutions of choice with a quick email or fill out the form online. I mean, if you send an email, you can bcc all the institutions you're interested in to their advising or admissions email address in one swoop... Outlier.org classes are not ACE nor NCCRS recommended for credit, having said that, they have partnerships with a few institutions including ones that we recommend such as Excelsior, SNHU, WGU, etc. Link:
