I was so focused on creating a path using just Study.com and Sophia for my BSLA for Excelsior until I saw that onlinedegree.com only charged $9 plus they have some classes that would transfer to Excelsior. Well...I erroneously kicked off my path by starting the Cosmology class. I feel like I'm in way over my head. I started this two days ago and just now finished the quiz for Lesson 3. My score for the 1st lesson is 5 out of 7. Second, was 4 out of 7. And third, surprisingly was 7 out of 7. My worry is I'm going to go through all 23 lessons (which will probably take me a couple of weeks at the rate that I'm going) and nothing is going to stick and I'll end up failing my first class which will not be encouraging. Don't get me wrong, I find the class interesting. The 1 hour video and doing the lessons plus not knowing which answers are right and which are wrong which means I can't even study my mistakes is frustrating.

With your experience using onlinedegree.com, is it possible to pause this class and come back to it at a later time (say, after I've earned more credits)? What happens if I don't come back to it?

Yes, you can come back to it later. If you don't come back ever, nothing happens. If you do set it to the side for a while, I would suggest that you'd probably want to re-watch the first three lessons again before continuing.
