free Peterson's link
#1
Today, I was looking for some resources for the College Math exam and I stumbled across a free llnk to the Peterson's practice exams. I was able to access it through the Montgomery County, MD library website. I thought I would need a library card number but it never asked me for one. So here it is, a free and simple way to access the Peterson's practice exams.

MCPL: Education & Career

After you click on the above link, click on the TESTING AND EDUCATION RESOURCE CENTER heading and there it is.

Also, the heading above that--Learning Express Library--has an incredible amount of resources and practice tests to try. It says you need a Library number but I was never asked for one.

That site/link doesn't particularly have anything to do with the library specifically. It is just a redirect to Gale Group Resource Center

This redirect link isn't working for me. I seem to need to go through the library link in the first post to get access to the Peterson's site.

Thanks again for the link, categ. It's been great to have!

I have been having the same problem for the past 2 weeks, but 2 other persons at the site checked and they don't have a problem.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Do you use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer? Firefox seems to be the way to go with links that won't work. I'm totally not a computer person, but am just repeating what I've heard. Also, you may have something blocking the site, a setting perhaps that needs to changed (that's usually my problem when something doesn't work on this dumb computer...sorry, on this computer). I just now tried the site again and it still works for me.

Hey, I know, how about you go to Google and do a search for Montgomery Library, click on Research a Topic, then click on Education. I did it and it took me right to the correct page. Now, click on Testing and Education Resource Center. Maybe this will work for you too!

Thanks for the information. It seems to confirm my suspicions.

I use Internet Explorer. I had been able to get in up until about 2 weeks ago. I use a laptop provided by my employer (with their knowledge) for college related items (since they want it done). We just had to update our computers at the end of the school year and this has been happening ever since. I've already spoken to IT and they are going to check it out for me soon. Hopefully next week.

I'm not allowed to load anything withouth their knowledge, so no other browser at this time.
