I think you shouldnt bring your kids into this and definitely not the right advice for them if you want them to be independent thinker.. oh well if you use the verb ''knock'' in the same sentence with sense and understanding.. I can only imagine what tyre of person you are !!
I truly feel sorry for someone who feels the need to "knock" people down to feel superior. As previously mentioned, there is no need to use sarcasm in your posts. If you are irritated by a post, skip to another one. You have provided very helpful information in many of your posts, don't lower yourself by posting such bitter nonsense. Just as you proclaim that your responses are misunderstood, you may not be able to conclude that someone is lazy by their very concise request for information.
Oh and by the way, asking someone to reflect and question their opinion is a direct avenue to independent thinking. A person who can't or won't hear someone else's opinion is the antithesis of an independent thinker.

So start to feel sorry for yourself because saying to people they are dreaming is not KNOCKING them Down !! unlike your previous post which was truely rude and you know it !!
I like how you changed your sentences.. FLASH NEWS !! you WERE not asking them to think independently but to follow the majority !! its too late to change your own sentences now !! haha I feel sorry for someone who needs to change his own sentences to defend him self !!
I never said he was lazy, just his request shows a lazy and unrealistic attitude..

Since I was sent back to the dictionary, here is how Merriam-Webster defines hostile:
Main Entry: hosâ¢tile
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle French or Latin; Middle French, from Latin hostilis, from hostis
Date: 1580
1 a: of or relating to an enemy (hostile fire) b: marked by malevolence (a hostile act) c: openly opposed or resisting (a hostile critic) (hostile to new ideas) d (1):
not hospitable (plants growing in a hostile environment) (2): having an intimidating,
antagonistic, or offensive nature (a hostile workplace)
