I'm not a business major, but wouldn't accounting/finance fall under the 9cr "Data-Driven Decision Making" category?

Maybe, maybe not, they are generally not obscured as such. They could be sprinkled around in other modules like global business. Personally I don't see a lot of C suite/VP in technology doing much accounting, even finance, beside the finance officer I guess. I mean sure they are doing department budgets but this isn't the big part of their role.
Maybe this MBA is geared toward another clientele.

That CORe certificate really opened my eyes to this science and I now know that a balance/income statement is all that matters to measure performance. Warren Buffet cosigns this and he mentioned that accounting is all that you need to learn to be successful in business. But it’s a shame that BU didn’t put any accounting courses here. Can you imagine a business man that can’t put together a balance sheet? Yet this is an MBA? Yeah... we should email them about that to see what happens because as it stands this just screams bs. It’s basically a degree to fix a resume or fix the perception of a shoddy bachelors in someone’s resume, or for foreign people trying to get an US based masters in their profile at a cost of 24k and they left accounting out because is hard and it will mess their graduation (money) rates.(08-02-2019, 11:59 AM)Stoic Wrote:I have to agree with you.
