There really is no effective way of laundering credits earned by examination. Any college you try to transfer these credits through to make it look like you earned your credits there will state exactly how you got your credits on your transcript. I would recommend going to TESC to get a history degree. AMU shouldn't be bad either. What makes the big three unique is that they allow such a large amount of credits to be earned through testing. Most colleges simply don't do that.

i wanted UofM but i did not take the SAT's or ACT's or anything. all i had was a few transfer credits from a community college, i didnt have enough to get accepted as a transfer so i was denied , i took western because my brother lives 20 mins away and its cheap rent for me because im only living off of my GI bill bah and what i make from rotc and national guard ....roughly 1600 if im lucky that month lol just tring to reduce bills..... i would go somewhere better but i would get hammered with room and board rates ...and wouldnt afford it

If you want to earn your degree as fast as possible for the least amount of money, I would recommend getting your degree at one of the big three (TESC, EC, or COSC). If, however, you want the "college experience", then a brick and mortar college such as Western Michigan is going to be your preference. They won't accept nearly as much credit by exam though.

Most members on this forum (including me) are paying somewhere between $6-8K for their
entire degree. Just something to think about

I'm confused about something. How is it that your school accepts ALEKS but not DSST exams? Are you sure? In the "ranking" of what's accepted, ACE classes would certainly be well below DSST.

The school said it accepts ACE, but it has to be evaluated by the deparment that the credit is In.. I was told no dantes dsst or excel exams will not be accepted. General clep exams are allowed for non traditional students. Subject cleps are accepted but only a few are.... this is what the school has told me, I wish I can fight it but o well. They want there money....but my college is free anyways so it doesn't hurtme. But I still will take dantes dsst exams but transfer it to AMU because they accept everything even docnet whih I have 17 credits waiting to be transfered to.
