You should have posted in the Cybersecurity thread already about this. Also you posted the curriculum for the on campus option.

its alright. I also didn't see a dedicated academic map for the YourPace version of the program. I can't imagine the courses being vastly different.

I wonder what the curriculum is going to look like and how much computer science/ information systems /engineering work will be incorporated. Maybe the program is just papers like the rest of the YourPace UMPI bachelors degrees. I am interesting in seeing how this plays out. I may take a stab at it if it's not too much STEM involved.

Most of their degrees go through the campus option first, then a move to online class options, and finally the Your Pace version...

Even with those versions, one would imagine that the curriculum outlined for the YourPace version would be no different then on-campus one, right?
Having completed an IT degree through WPUNJ; many of the courses and electives taken are almost a near match for the cybersecurity program at UMPI. It would have been amazing had UMPI retained their previous policy on their 1-time 30 credit residency requirement. I would have practically completed the new program almost immediately.

There have been differences in programs on campus and on YourPace over the years. There have been programs available on YourPace that weren't on campus as well. The 4 year plan doesn't apply to YourPace. All of the courses and electives aren't the same. All on campus courses aren't offered in YourPace. It's great to see them adding more programs.

This was a 1 term fluke. I too have 2 bachelor's degrees from UMPI. I had to complete an additional 30 residency credits for my second one. I completed both of mine before you. This seems more of an error than a policy change especially since it went right back to the policy the next term.

I don't really care when anyone completed theirs; (congratulations by all means, but whenever someone completed it means nothing to me so long as it's finished) I think it's a bit irrelevant. I've done 3 of their bachelor's just at UMPI alone (I don't know what importance numbers mean for this). As far as the "error" goes, this went on from 2023 - 2025. The change was implemented with the 2025-2026 policy. The policy was in place for a time and it was great! We talk about degree hacking quite a bit here, and in terms of degree hacking, not only is being able to complete the work and maximize transfer credits important, but reading the fine print on their policies also provides an edge. It's just something to reminisce over more than anything else as THAT was a HELLUVA degree hack.
Policy changes are the #1 killers here, places like COSC and Excelsior are wonderful examples of this when at 1 point in time, they were leading the charge in accelerated degree completion. It's just interesting to point out what could've been had UMPI kept the policy in effect. Substantial changes are quite noticeable and palpable now at UMPI not only with this policy change, but also with their acceptance of alt credits. At one point, UMPI was pretty much like TESU in terms of accepting credits for direct course transfers (besides some of the Coursera certs).
The plans themselves are not vastly different compared to the on-campus options unless we're talking about self-designed ones
