The 2025-2026 UMPI Catalog Spring Versionhas just been released with several interesting additions in the YourPace CBE modality.
New programs: A 15-credit undergraduate Graphic Design Certificate. An AA in Human Services.
There’s a new list of official UMPI minors fully available on YourPace, which includes these new or relatively newly members: Community Health, Healthcare Administration (the two are separate minors), Early Childhood Education, Humanities, Pre-Law Studies, and Sociology (a separate minor from Social Studies, which is also available on YourPace).
New or relatively new YourPace undergraduate courses include several courses in Art in and beyond that Graphic Design Certificate. These include Drawing I, Photography I, and Introduction to Film.
There are now eleven MAT courses on YourPace, including College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II, and II, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics I and II, and Discrete Mathematics. In the fall catalog there were only three MATs. All MATs are 100- or 200-level.
There are also two 4-credit courses new to YourPace either of which will fulfill both the physical science (3D) and science lab (3E) general education requirements: ENV 308 GIS I Fundamentals of GIS or GEY 112 Fundamentals of Geology. Now the notorious BIO 105 Biology for Everyday Life is no longer the only YourPace course that will fulfill 3E! (BS in Healthcare Administration majors will still need BIO 105.)
