Help me understand the scores and study material. Thanks CLEP tests are graded on a scale of 80 points. 50 is accepted as passing by most schools, so 60 is an excellent score. I always try to get around a 60 on the practice tests, just in case the real thing is harder. Is this your first CLEP test? I took US History I a few months ago, but I used an REA book... I hadn't discovered IC yet. I took that class at college last year and had to CLEP it because it won't transfer. Anyway, I was very familar with the subject matter, so I didn't study very much. Maybe someone else who has studied for this test with IC can provide a better answer?

I dont know about History I, but I took History II and would DEFINITELY reccomend using the REA book in addition to IC. It fills in a lot of information that is crucial to passing the test. Definitely use IC also, though. The 2 resources together are for sure enough to get you a fantastic score! Good Luck!

That's fantastic. You only used IC? Wow, I'll only use IC as well.
