WSU Tech is offering free tuition and relocation expenses to people admitted to their sheetmetal assembly and process mechanic (painter) programs. Interviews after graduation are guaranteed.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Interested in and enroll in one of the eligible Wichita Promise MOVE program(s).Have a permanent residence 75 miles or more outside of Wichita, KS and in one of the following states; Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska or Missouri, and able to provide proof of residence.Be willing and able to relocate to Wichita, KS on specified move-in date as assigned by WSU Tech.Must be 18 years of age or older.Ability to apply for Financial Aid through the FAFSA and complete all financial aid eligibility requirements.High school or GED graduate.Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen with a permanent resident card.Can pass a background check and drug screening.Must have a desire to accept an employment offer in Wichita once training is complete.Ability to attend and progress through the program in the sequence required.Ability to maintain a 2.5 GPA during the program.Must meet program entry requirements.
