Which test to take first, how long to study, tips, etc

If you have access to a base library, you can get the REA study guides either from your base, or sent from another. Depending on the branch, you might be able to access an online library with eBook versions as well.

Since you have access to peterson I would say take the 1st test now, see how you do if you get at least 60% try the next one if not 60% study more than try next. if still not 60 study more take last and if at least 50% give the real thing a go. When I had access to petersons I found that method and reading the answers to questions I got wrong help with the study.

A & I Lit
American Lit
English Lit
Humanities

That's how I took them, and passed them all. I used REA books, Petersons practice tests, flashcards (didn't have IC then, though) and forum feedback. I took about 2 weeks on each one, but I'd just finished high school courses on Am and Eng Lit, so there's that.

A & I Lit is just reading comprehension and some terms. Study the terms and read some different types of lit, and you'll be good to go.

American Lit I took next because I was pretty familiar with US history. That's a good thing to be up on, as literature corresponds with history Wink

English Lit is 1/2 A & I Lit, so you've already got that going for you. Then do some more study on the lit part - it isn't too hard.

Humanities is a grab bag of mixed facts, but by now you'll have a good grasp on literature. Use Google a lot, and you'll do fine.
