Which one is easier? Study.com? Clep? Dsst?
#1
I'm thinking to take these exams.

Principles of Finance Study.com or Dsst

Principles of Marketing Study.com or Clep

Globalization and international Management Study.com

Operations Management Study.com

For Dsst and Clep, is it possible to pass using only instantcert?
( I see many people passed using only instantcert here. )

Have anyone taken any of these four exams?
Is Study.com final exam easy? hard? (Study.comTonguerinciples of Finance Final <-- Do i need to buy a calculator? or use online calculator?)
Any tips will be appreciated. :p

One of the problems of trying to compare two types of exams is that no one has taken both. So to ask whether the Principles of Finance DSST is easier or harder than the Study.com course will not be really helpful for you - people will have taken one or the other.

Also, it is impossible for anyone to tell you if something is hard or easy, when it is totally dependent upon your past experience as to whether something is easy. I took the Marketing CLEP while barely studying for it (actually just looked at a Spartnotes chart for maybe an hour ahead of time), and thought it was a piece of cake - but I have taken multiple management courses, most at a 4-year college with a really great business program with lots of hands-on experiential learning included. So I retained a lot of what I learned there, and was able to use it to take the marketing course. I also worked for years in different administrative capacities, so marketing was not new to me. For someone who has never taken a management course, or worked around marketing people, it may be more difficult for you. But there's no way my telling you it was an easy course to pass will make it easy for YOU to pass, it's just what MY experience was with it.

I thought they updated the dsst exams and they were notably harder now. Is that the consensus? Haven't heard much of people taking dsst like they use to with all these other options.

I'd go with SL and study.com with all of those options. Why leave the house if you don't have to?

The only way I would expect InstantCert to be enough by itself is if you already have a lot of knowledge in the subject. For instance, I used only InstantCert for the Personal Finance DSST because I already knew all of that stuff and I just needed to get keyed into the terminology and the kind of questions. I did the same with Astronomy because I'm an astronomy buff, but I ended up doing so much Google searching and reading online, that it probably isn't fair to say I "only" used InstantCert.

In my experience the two study.com courses that I have taken were pretty much easier than any of the many CLEP, DSST, and ECE courses I have taken.
The finals on study.com are pretty breezy and I don't think you need to go through the lessons very thoroughly. I can complete these courses in a few days. With the CLEP and DSST tests I would have to study super hard for a week sometimes two and then I would barely pass. On study.com I have gotten well above the passing grade with a lot less effort but that's just me.
I've also heard great things about straigherline but I haven't taken one of those yet.

Try some of both types of tests and see what you tend to like better. You might find like I did that you prefer one type over the others regardless of what specific test it is.

of course those are just opinions too but I have found them to be pretty similar to my own experience.

Good luck!

so if I finish two courses before the month is up can I start on a 2nd month? I assume I would need to pay but I don't want to have to keep waiting for the 30 days to finish bout to start study.com courses this week!

I was told that you can only take two in 30 days (I think they start counting the day you take the first one, not the day you pay), but that you can always pay for another month using a new email address and take an additional two that way.
