I know everyone is sick of me here and I am sorry but I am so lost and confused how people are able to transfer 90+ credits to places like Excelsior and UMPI. I sit for hours and look for equivalency courses and I can't find them! I know sophia comes in at LL and satisfies most, if not all, gen eds and electives (I have that sorted). I find an odd few UL on study.com but that's it. Im beyond frustrated because I have 14 classes that I still need for UMPI and if I look at Excelsior I have just as many.
I am aware that I have to take 10 classes at UMPI, I am not arguing that but since I had so many extras I thought I'd check Excelsior because they also have the degree I want. Since I'm not required to do as many there I thought that would be better. But I can't find UL classes for most of the business core or my concentration (supply chain management/logistics) for either school.
Due to...things...I am trying to be done with this by July 2022. I wanted to start UMPI in Oct but I wont have all my IC/SDC classes done by then and I am afraid that if I start in Jan I wont be able to complete 14 classes before July.
I really need someone to tell me where the h e double hockey sticks you're finding these UL classes to transfer!
Side note, I know about taking 2 extra classes at EC to waive that $1095 fee, which is fine. I don't mind taking 4-5 classes there but I still have way more than that.
Sorry if this comes off aggressive, I'm just really frustrated because I need to decide and I don't want to be (or sound) rude because everyone has been so helpful.

I didn't look for UL courses to transfer to UMPI. You are required to take most of the UL's at UMPI. Much of Supply Chain Management you won't find elsewhere. It's BRAND NEW. It hasn't even launched yet. The first students start it the end of this month. PM what you've completed and I can send you a degree plan for UMPI. I'll need to know which UMPI degree. FYI....to get through 14 classes at UMPI here's a rough idea....Spring 1 take 3-4 courses, Spring 2 3-4 courses, and Summer 1 3-4 courses. Summer 1 ends in July. The typical student completes 2-3 classes a term, but many of us have completed many more.
ETA: It takes time and a LOT of planning to design your degree plan. It doesn't happen overnight. It takes many months for most people. Picking a degree and sticking to it are huge.

If you post your degree plan so far in the degree planning section, we can help you. Unfortunately, most degrees at EC cannot be completed with alternate credit. Without knowing which one(s) you're looking at and what's missing, we cannot advise.
If you start in January, that's 3 terms at UMPI until July. That's six months and only about 2 classes per month. This seems like a pretty reasonable rate to me.
Which classes are you still working on? For UMPI, we mostly recommend Sophia, taking Biology 101L at SDC, and then Spanish and/or American Government at IC. You shouldn't be taking a huge number of slow classes, especially UL ones. You need to take most of your ULs at UMPI anyway.

According to UMPI's website they only accept ACE credits. Coopersmith is not ACE.

UMPI is a CBE, and you have to take 30cr there
- easy to take your UL there, and your concentration/minor/major
EC is not CBE, and you only have to take 7cr there, so you can transfer in 113cr.
- As far as UL courses, you can get those from Study.com or Coopersmith (generally speaking)
- the cornerstone and capstone are both UL, so you only need to bring in 8 UL courses
Obviously it depends on your major, but at EC, for a BSB or BSL, you can easily find 24cr of UL and all the remaining LL to meet all requirements for a degree. If you post what you've taken, I can help you with an EC degree plan.

When I looked on coopersmith for supply chain management for EC, I dont have any clue what is what because all the descriptions are vague. Instead of saying what the class is at EC it says "business elective" or its not the same name so IDK if it transfers. I'll just have to stick with UMPI and do the 14 classes.

Im confused. If EC doesnt allow you to complete with alternate credit, why are they listed as one of the big 3? Yes you can transfer 113 but if you still have to take a lot of classes with them, then whats the advantage?
I am a trying to do supply chain management/logistics. Since EC has that as a concentration, I thought I could do it thru there instead so I only have a few classes to do at EC but if they dont take the credits then thats definitely not happening, its too expensive.
I am starting to wonder: It seems it only works (transferring a lot of credits) if you do a general degree with no specialty. If I'm doing this, Im going to be specific and not jsut get the business degree to get it, I want the SCM degree.
I did post in degree planning but it basically came down to: I have to take these 14-16 classes at UMPI. So looks like thats what Im going to do.

Because EC isn't the same in all of their degree programs. They have pretty strict requirements for their business degrees. Their other degrees aren't like that. I wasn't accepted for the BS in Business but could be accepted into the BPS for Business. Why? My courses were too old. They have time limits on the business courses as well.
