I am thrilled to be close to the finish line at UMPI. I hope to finish my BABA - Project Management degree in the next 2 sessions! I probably move slower than most. I read all the content, take notes and watch all the videos, but words can't express how thankful I am for all of your advice and how happy I am to be making progress.
I am currently halfway through BUS 312 at SDC so I can transfer to UMPI to fulfill BUS 415 Operations Management (Jessica said that was okay).
I was just assigned BUS 325 Financial Management for this term, and I need to ask Jessica for another class. I am most nervous about BUS 440, and BUS 245 based on the reviews I have read on this forum.
Any suggestion on what order to ask for these remaining classes?
BUS 440 Business Analytics (nervous about this one)
BUS 400 Project Management Applications
BUS 469 Strategic Professional Communication
BUS 245 Programming for Managers (nervous about this one)
BUS 401 Advanced Project Mgt Applications II
Thank you!

I just started BUS440 today. So far the material is logical and pretty well written. None of it is incredibly complicated so far but I am only at the first milestone. It seems to currently be a multiple choice exam for the final assessment.
I was a little unsure about this class as well, having seen several others talk about it being a pain. So I put it first in my schedule so that I would have time to really devote to it. I paired it with a class that was reportedly shorter with a fast grading professor (Zaborney) so that I could move quickly through one and not get stuck in two classes that might bog me down at the same time. That's what made sense to me.

BUS 325 took me longer to get through than any other course at UMPI.
BUS 440 was quick for me. I wouldn't be overly nervous about it.
BUS 400 and 401 are both very straightforward. I actually had some fun with these.
BUS 469 has a fairly long assignment, but the directions really walk you through it, and make it easier to do well.
BUS 245 is challenging for a lot of people. I found the instructor to be very approachable and open to helping.

That's what made sense to me. Thanks for the feedback. I'm looking to do the same thing - pair a longer, more difficult class with one that I can move through a little faster.
Also, I didn't know if any course might provide material that is helpful toward completion of another class.
I thought I had read that Zaborney is no longer at UMPI. I've never had him for any classes. Do you have a class with him?
I liked Professor Michaud's classes - BUS 240 Change Management and BUS 353 Legal & Ethical Issues in Business (the paper for this class took me a while, but Michaud provides great suggestions).

Thanks for the reassurance about BUS 440. I will ask Jessica for that one next, then. Thanks again.

I do have one course with Zaborney so far this session (today), which is pos 301: Eu Governments. So far its fast and easy. I'm waiting on the milestones to be affirmed so I can do the final.
I had American govt with Zaborney too until about ten days ago. I think some new professors have taken over a few classes that Zaborney taught previously but he's still teaching a lot of the history and political science courses.

Glad to hear he's still at UMPI. I've read great things about him. Best of luck as you finish up at UMPI.

Best of luck to you as well. I would love to know your reviews of the classes you are taking/have taken, if you get a chance. Either here or on the UMPI Class Review thread. I am trying to decide between taking more history courses to finish out my UL requirements or adding some additional business classes. I have enjoyed both. BUS 440 is the last class I need for my minor, so the remaining 4 are UL electives.

BUS 325 was the worst course I took solely because Cody is SLOW at affirming milestones. The final is a multiple choice exam and wasn't overly difficult although I only got a B on it lol.
BUS 440 is a multipole choice exam and Professor Winslow gives great feedback on your milestones, I enjoyed this class personally, regardless of all the negative feedback you hear about him on here. Just answer the milestones properly.
BUS 469 is a great class and each milestone builds upon itself for your final project, save this one for last in my opinion.
BUS 245 I got the credit for this class by taking the Google Data Analytics certification courses through Coursera, I finished before the 5 day free trial was over so I got credit for the certificate and it transferred right into UMPI as 12 credits with BUS 245 being one of them. If you don't need the course at UMPI, consider doing this. It can be knocked out in a weekend.
BUS 400 and 401 I didn't take so I can't comment on those.

I also had a good experience with Professor Winslow.
