Walden University
#1
Hello, I'm interested in Walden University Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I choose this over UMPI because it is ACBSP accredited.
Now I'm trying to see if anyone has a degree plan for this major, where I can transfer ACE credits from sophia and/or study.
Or if you're aware of any other online bachelor of business administration programs that are accredited by ACBSP or AACSB, please share.

Thanks in advance.

For the love of god, do not choose Walden! LOL. ACBSP provides little extra value, and Walden's bad reputation erases that value.

TESU and WGU are both ACBSP.
- You can get a TESU business degree for less than $5k if you take a single FT/FR term there (this does not include the cost of the credits you need, especially the RA credits).
- WGU is ~$3500/term, and people do finish in 1-2 terms regularly
- SNHU also has ACBSP accreditation and will take 90cr of transfer

The reputational value of a bachelor's in business from UMPI, a brick-and-mortar state university established in 1903, will exceed that of a bachelor's in business from a for-profit online university in all or almost all contexts, regardless of specialized business accreditation. I'm really stretching to think of an exception. Maybe if your end goal is applying for an accounting license with a specific state board that has unusually preferential treatment of programs with specialized business accreditation?

University of Wisconsin-Parkside has a competency-based AACSB bachelor's in business, though they're reportedly not friendly to ACE/NCCRS alt-credit.

It also depends on if the student wants to get a master's degree; many ACBSP- or AACSB-accredited master's programs will give you a waiver on up to like 3 courses if you have an ACBPS- or AACSB-accredited bachelor's degree.  So it can save you quite a bit of money to make sure that your bachelor's degree is accredited if at all possible.  I definitely would say that this is something to think about if you are deciding between several schools.

@RoliJoli, you may want to provide more details as it's a little confusing on what you're trying to do.  Your previous post mentioned you're doing the BLS Project Management and looking at Masters programs: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...rs-Program  ... Your second thread indicates you're looking at reference letters, most likely to use for the Masters in thread #1: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...nce-Letter ... Are you looking at changing the BLS Project Management to the Walden BSBA?  or is this a second bachelors for you?  If it's a second bachelors, why not do the MBA at HAU or Walden's MBA instead?  You can always ladder up from the UMPI BLS PM to another Masters that has ACBSP if needed, or do the HAU MBA for 3K flat.

Thanks for the response. I'm an international student so I can't attend WGU, but I'll check out the others.
