Just checking to see if anyone is building any degree transfer lists for University of New Hampshire CPS?

Thank you for asking. The program looks interesting, but I've never heard of it before. I'm curious how transfer friendly they are? I saw one reference on reddit about transferring from Sophia, but I haven't found any official documentation about ACE credits.

I’m in the process of enrolling in the school. They do appear to accept many Sophia credits. When I get some free time I’ll post more details about the process and the credits they have accepted so far. They are not as credit friendly as SNHU. But a substantively amount of credits do seem to transfer.

Hmm, interesting indeed, seems like a very good program and similar to SNHU in cost but from a public/state institution instead, there are a few programs from other public/state in their own CPS division... I just skimmed through their webpage for more details, up to 90 credits for transfer using CLEP/DSST, AP, Sophia/StraighterLine and more...

But when you go into the TES online transfer tool, it doesn't show any from Study.com or other ACE options. Hopefully you get more details if they accept more classes from other ACE or even NCCRS providers. I also checked their tuition... TES Link: https://cps.unh.edu/online/why-unh-cps-o...fer-credit

New name, longstanding program: the University of New Hampshire College of Professional Studies is the continuation since 2023 of Granite State College (1972–2023), New Hampshire's state college for adult learners.

If you use the following portal (Link at bottom of post) you can search ACE or American Council on Education. Listed in this are ACE credits that are accepted. There are several other certifications that are accepted also. I was able to transfer my Google IT Support Professional Certificate for CMPL 614 Computer and Network Systems
OR CMPL 525 Foundations of Cybersecurity

I will note you MUST take English Composition at UNH. They want to control how well students write. It showed straighterline was accepted in the TES system but they didn't accept it.

PLA Abbreviations:
SOPH = Sophia
OOSL = StraighterLine
SAYA = Saylor
SDCM = study.com

That's a mouth full! They should have just changed college to university.
