If it ends up anything like the OMSCS program, as long as you have a bachelor's and either relevant work experience or coursework, you should be able to get in. They base their decisions not on a number of slots, but rather on their assessment of your ability to succeed in the program.

Well, here's an update. It's a moot point for me until I get back to the US whether WGU will accept someone with an economics degree to the program, so I've begun thinking about alternatives.

The Georgia Tech program looks great, but I have no idea how selective they are, plus they follow the standard semester system and have a standard admissions process. Dakota State University has a program at the upper end of what I'm willing to pay before I'd go autodidact instead. Whereas WGU and GT are relatively clear on the prerequisite knowledge they want you to have, DSU is not, although they allude to it (I'm going to see if I can clear that up with them).

Given all that, I'm wondering if the TESU BS in Data Analytics, despite being a relatively expensive bachelor's degree is the path of least resistance. I should mention that what I want to be able to offer is a more data-driven approach to business problems.

Any thoughts?

CSU Global has an online Masters in Data Analytics. Same price range as DSU, but they're quite clear on admission requirements: https://csuglobal.edu/graduate/masters-d...-analytics

Or you could go the UC Berkeley route with their 60k Data Science degree
