If they go forward with it, I hope they offer some unique concentrations. There are a million EdD programs out there. WGU is supposed to be focused on in-demand degree programs.

indeed also would be curious to see if they require a dissertation or something different like a capstone or project.

I'd be intrigued by a concentration in Behavioral Health or Applied Behavior Analysis since they apply in education settings, particularly in challenging settings with kids who have behavior issues, autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
