[SIZE="3"][COLOR="Indigo"]I am sorry to hear that you didn't pass this exam... I just took this exam a week ago and I'm pretty darn sure I passed. I took this exam cold, but it was only because I work in healthcare and I'm studying for nursing school...

I must say that this exam will require studying for by the majority of test takers. The exam covers a wide variety of knowledge (Body systems, nutrition, global warming, cardiac health, lung diseases, home and auto safety, etc.) & quite a few statistics that most people would not comfortable guessing on. I wouldn't consider this exam one of the harder exams that I've taken, but it's not a sure thing either. I think you might have just under prepared for this one and it's not a reflection of you as a test taker.

I wish you the best of luck in the future! (Sorry you aren't going to make May graduation Sad , I know that stinks)

"I still believe IC is a valuable component of my exam prep - even with the new Dantes tests out there. In fact, I'm putting my $$ where my mouth is and preparing right now for the Dantes Astrology and Intro to Computing using IC as a resource."

"I only have one more exam to take, either Astrology or Environment & Humanity: Race to Save the Planet. Does anyone have suggestions as to which one I should start studying for?"

Is this a new test where the questions and answers are blank and you have 90 minutes to answer 90 questions?

I just completed the HTYH 2008 edition this AM. I thought the test was very close to the IC content.

I also completed the test today and got a 445, which I guess is at least a B. I ran through the IC questions once last night, and made 6 pages of handwritten notes about things that I was shaky on. I probably would have done better except for the fact that I had just finished Excelsior Cultural Diversity test 30 minutes before this. I read over my notes just before I took the test.
Total prep time: 3 hrs.
Total test time was 40 minutes

I must say that there were many questions that I could only narrow down to two choices. Test strategy is a very big part of these tests. It has been proven on many similar tests that going back and fixing things during the review cycle is almost always a mistake. If you can only get things down to two choices, just pick one and move on.

What was helpful to me was overlap from previous tests:
DSST - Drugs and Alchohol
Excelsior - Psych of Aging
