Ok, just received my transfer report for BLS management. I will need to complete 13 courses.
GEC:
1:b Eng 121
2:d Eng 211 or ART 108
Minor:
Bus 260
Bus 321
Bus 415
and the 8 UL Electives
Can anyone point me to where I should look for UL class considerations? Any classes that are universally liked or easy to get through quickly?
Will probably lean towards business or history but I have over 20 years experience in Graphic arts so anything that fits into that category would be great. Math and Stats will slow me down, I'm much better than I was but I'm over it!
Thanks in advance!

did you get any communication regarding how many minor courses must be completed at UMPI? I've seen other posts that you must complete 12 hours out of 18 hours of a BLS minor at UMPI but your post suggests you were able to transfer in 9 credits towards your minor.

Nothing was noted but Sophias Project management, Business Communication, and Business Law all transferred into the Minor category. I anticipated Business law to transfer in as an UL course according to the WIKI page but it went towards the minor.

I wouldn't take anymore courses for the minor outside of UMPI as they may not transfer. As for the 24 UL credits, when I completed my BLS, I had to complete the majority of those credits at UMPI. Are you registered for classes at UMPI? If you are, then you need permission from your academic advisor to transfer in additional courses. Just send them an email saying you want to take x course from x provider and want to transfer it in. THey've been fine with this so far. Study has UL courses that UMPI accepts. You'll need to make sure they can be applied to your degree with your academic advisor. If you want history courses, then you'll probably want to take them at UMPI because the history professors are really responsive and hands on. The coursework is really manageable and not like 5 papers per course. You have Milestones and your Final Assessment which is a paper or PowerPoint for the history courses.
ENG121 and 2D you will want to complete at UMPI. ENG121 is 1 paper at UMPI. Nowhere else has that amount of work for this course. Everywhere else is multiple papers. 2D now has a graphic design course available as an option.

I'm not planning on transferring anymore classes. I'm enrolled but haven't got to the point of selecting any classes yet. I'm trying to prepare myself for which UL classes to ask for.

I'm also evaluating my options for upper-level UL courses using this list ----> https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/attachm...p?aid=4508.
One area of interest for me is criminal justice, specifically courses like CRJ 350 Criminal Procedure would be a good fit. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to fill out the pre-requirement for that particular course.

You could see if the prereqs could be waived, but if not, CRJ 100 and CRJ 250 are both on SDC with a decent amount of overlap.
