Update: Pierpont does not require HS Transcripts if you previously attended college
#1
As of February, 2024, the decision letter states, "If you have attended college after graduating from high school, then you are not required to submit official high school transcripts."

They didn’t ask for mine last May either, but it’s good if they’ve codified what they’ve previously done.

Pierpont seems to count Sophia as "college", but the 1-credit ASU class is definitely "college". It makes it easier for students who are unable to get a HS transcript for one reason or another.

Completed:

Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)

I understand ASU but Sophia is not a college.

West VA allows a degree of flexibility for their schools for the AAS BOG programs. For example, some schools require a higher number of credits to be taken (e.g. Eastern WVA CC requires 21 credits in general Education) and most requires at least one class to be taken at the school itself.

Interesting reminder for Sophia: https://www.sophia.org/blog/higher-educa...editation/

In addition to receiving ACE recommendation, [Sophia] courses are all also recommended by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), an organization that evaluates distance-learning programs.
Completed: HAU MBA | BA Economics (US) | Finland Open Studies @ XAMK/Metropolia/Helsinki/Laurea
