Interesting (but not a bad idea) that they're requiring Advanced Algorithms (on top of foundational Algorithm knowledge). I don't think many general IT folks I've worked with would have any idea what they're doing in that respect.

I just noticed UoP only requires a 2.5 GPA to graduate from their masters programs. That's a bit unusual compared to the standard 3.0 B average passing grade for other grad schools. Does this mean UoP grading is harsh (and that's why they lowered the standard to allow more people to pass) or does this mean it is easy to graduate (because only a 2.5 is required)?

Just thought I'd post this here, apparently UoPeople is scheduled for a second appointment for seeking Regional Accreditation this fall. If they succeed, their degrees would instantly become far more desirable.

I knew they were attempting RA, but I didn't realize it was coming up relatively soon. That could make things very interesting if that process goes smoothly for them.

It’s pretty much all peer graded. And from the group posts I have seen, there are a lot of students who grade others very harshly.

"Submitting proof of bachelor’s degree completion may be satisfied any time during the student’s first year at UoPeople..."
Does that mean you can be enrolled before your bachelor's degree is conferred, or even completed?

I don't read it that way, I think you need the bachelors to apply, but they're willing to let you start while you get them acceptable proof. Remember that UOP is playing heavily to the outside-US market where getting that proof over isn't as easy as paying 10 bucks and an email goes out that afternoon already in English.

I I was wondering whether Uopeople would accept TESC's BASBA General Management degree and an Amazon Web Service Cloud Associate as well as the Microsoft Technology Associate Networking Fundamentals certification as meeting the requirements for admissions into this MSIT program.
