I opened my email and was surprised to see something from UoPeople. It was an email announcing they have received RA from the WASC. I'm sure they will increase the cost of their fees, but I'm sure they will still be one of the cheapest options to earning degrees and credits online.

Yes, that's awesome. We recently created a new subforum just for the institution! Moving this thread into that subforum.

Every time i open youtube or any web site i see an advertisement they are bombarding like crazy with ads I know they are going to receive a bunch of enrollment because of this cheap price I saw their bachelor program and it does not required a capstone.
Most of the universities around the globe require for an official degree a capstone.
In progress:
TESU - ASNSM ASBA, UNIR- Master Cyber Security
Completed:
TESU - BA Computer Science

There are many universities and colleges in the US which do not require a capstone course for a bachelor's degree.

UMPI also no capstone.
I started UMPI,TESU and UoPeople almost the same time in early 2024
UMPI completed in 1 term, TESU around 6 months got drag due to credit transfer processes and UoPeople 1 year plus (will grad in Apr 2025, but at least it will be regional accredited)
Plan : EdD (Edgewood) | EdS (SouthCollege) | PhD (Manipal)
In Progress: DHS (Capella) |DBA (GGU) |MS (ECE, Walden)| MS (CJ, Walden)|
Completed: MS (I/O, Walden)|MS (Gen Psy, Walden)| BA (TESU) | BLS (UMPI) |M.Ed & BA (UoPeople)| MBA (Isabel, UEL) | MA (Teesside) | MLPD (Griffith) | LLM (London Met) | MAPP (CLEA) | PhD (San Miguel)

+1, I agree, having UoPeople RA degrees are now more worth it than before. I've been mentioning to people to go for UoPeople if they actually needed and wanted to when they were NA and seeking RA. It may take some time to get the RA status, but, people can slowly get everything done except the last course or two. Did you do the BA and MEd at UoPeople? Did both programs take you a year or so to complete?

Yes took the BA and MEd concurrently, about 15-18 month to complete both, the BA took one term longer and cannot accelerate due to prerequisite of certain subject. The MEd can max to 4 course so can complete faster.
