UoPeople and UMPI are my go to recommendations now after UoPeople gained RA recently
For both institutions, you can transfer in 90 credits (or more, but only 90 will go into degree)
UMPI, if you can finish in one session, it's going to cost $1700. Most can complete in two.
UoPeople have partnerships with Sophia, Study.com, StraighterLine, 60 credits free assessment!
UMPI costs: 90 credits from Sophia.org $299 (4months)
If you can finish 10 classes in 1 session, $1700
Total: $1999 USD - 1 UMPI session is 8 weeks
Add AALS as second program and forget it as all courses from Bachelors complete program
UoPeople costs: App fee: $60
90 credits from Sophia.org $299 (4months)
90 credit transfer: (60 are free) 10 classes at $17 = $170
10 classes at $140/assessment = $1400
Total: $1929 for an entire Associates & Bachelors degree
For those looking to get a second bachelors, you can do so with an extra UMPI session or 10 assessments at UoPeople...
Thus, it'll be an extra $1700 at UMPI and for UoPeople, $60 app, plus $170 for 10 class assessment (your major prerequisites)
finally, the $140/assessment for the final 10 classes at UoPeople. Total for UoPeople is an extra $1630 for second bachelors!
Sophia : 4 months? Why all this time?
Maybe you are looking for people who work all day, right?
Because I think it is possible to study before (register at Sophia) and do almost everything in 1 month for U$ 79 (using coupon code).
I do not know if they put a LIMIT of the number of courses this time in ONE month.
UoP:
10 classes at $140/assessment = $1400
If I am not wrong, if you are an International Student you can get discount.
After RA to UoP, the problem with it came with the 10 months you need to wait to finish all 30 credits (10 classes). It is a lot slow.
( Yes, there is a long time I haven't post here... a lot busy).

Good morning and thank you for this breakdown. I know the post is almost a year old, but hopefully you can clarify a few things:
1) do either UMPI or UofPeople use proctored exams?
2) if the goal is to get a Associates in criminal justice, which one would be the cheapest and fastest to earn after taking the Sophia/study courses?
3) if a bachelors degree in criminal justice is needed down the road, which one would you lean more towards for the associates?
Thank u!!

University of the People does not offer degrees in criminal justice and some of its courses have proctored exams. My understanding is that UMPI is mostly papers.

UMPI does not have any exams. It's all papers, projects, PowerPoints, etc.

Thank you. Does UofPeople have the proctored exams for associates, bachelors, and masters though?

UoPeople doesn't have exams for masters. There are discussion forums, portfolio assignments (graded by instructors), written assignments (peer graded), identity verification assignments, and regular assignments, depending on the course. Graduate business courses have peer grading, which can be annoying. Most MSIT courses don't have peer graded assignments anymore. A typical MSIT course consists of 40% discussion forum grades and 60% assignment grades, all graded by the instructor. Their online syllabus repository is not up-to-date. I am taking MSIT 5216, which doesn't have peer graded assignments.

How are you liking the courses so far? And do you pay the fee at the end of each class or before you start the course? Online it says at the end of the course but that might not be updated either haha
