Stanford already had an online MS in Computer Science, but it appears that one has to carefully plan to finish the degree in entirely online.

I just received an email announcing new online graduate certificates in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Visual Computing.

Edit: I couldn't link directly to the list of graduate certificates, so check the box for "Graduate Certificates" under credentials. They should not be confused with the cheaper, non-credit, professional certificates.

Awesome!! There are 26 of them, all from the School of Engineering! (as opposed to an extension college)

Kind of. It's $15k to $20k for a graduate certificate, and I don't think you can use financial aid because the credits are too few. My entire master's at University of Florida will be about $17k.

The first one is in security studies (terrorism, international relations, war, intelligence, etc.). That one cost $11k after state grants. My second one, which I should be finished with by September, will be in medical sciences.

Maybe I will use the 20K to put for PhD degree which it is better than graduate certificate. I will explore later when I graduate from Master
