$105k. Why are you posting this? I'm always curious when people just post stuff on the forum with no explanation of why they think it's pertinent.

For that kind of money why not shoot for Harvard, Princeton, one of the ivies where the degree with their name on it and the networking will open doors that UC Davis just won't open? I just can't see any of the users on here ever going for an MBA that costs $105K.

For right around the same $100k price point, I could get a University of Illinois MBA (with Coursera), an Indiana University Master’s in Accounting (with EdX), AND a DBA from Marshall University. Granted, I don’t want to spend $100k more on education, but still. I also understand there are people who would want live, online courses, but not me. Why not just attend in-person at that point?(10-17-2021, 08:43 AM)dfrecore Wrote: $105k. Why are you posting this? UC Davis is a fine school, but I don’t think the brand is strong enough to justify that type of money. I am curious about the whole “stem-designated” degree thing that is splashed over the site in multiple locations. It looks like that allows people who come to the US on student visas to work longer after completing their degree than would normally be the case. Perhaps that is part of why the sticker price is so high?

UC Davis is well-known for some programs - their Vet school is THE best in the country. But their business school? I don't think so!
