Undergrad Certificates

Are there any undergrad certificates at Excelsior, TESC, or COSC that could be completed entirely by ACE credit/testing-out?
ALEKS: Beginning Algebra (1/17), Intermediate Algebra (1/17), Trigonometry (2/17). (9 crs)
ACTFL: Oral Proficiency (2/17). (9 crs)
The Institutes: Ethics (1/17). (2 crs)
NFA: Supervision (1/17), Community Safety (1/17). (2 crs)
Sophia: Developing Effective Teams (2/17), Essentials of Managing Conflict (4/18). (2 crs)
Study.com: Personal Finance (2/17), Human Growth and Development (2/17). (6 crs)
TEEX: Everyone (1/17), Business (1/17), IT (1/17). (6 crs)

36 ACE credits total.

Yes. You have to be an enrolled student at TESU. Otherwise 50% of the credits have to come from TESU. I am currently working towards the operations management certificate and the finance certificate. Study.com has some very good operations management courses. Davar has some good finance courses. Several of the other certificates look doable.

So you could transfer in 100% if enrolled into TESU?

NOTE: For non-degree enrolled students, at least 50% of the credits required for an undergraduate certificate must be earned at Thomas Edison State University. Application of any transferred credits is at the discretion of the Dean.

Up to 9 credits (50 percent) of the 18 credit certificate may be older than 7 years from the most current date of application to the University. Any additional older credits applicable to the certificate area of study would have to undergo a currency review.

Some are too hard to test out of, but Study.com and other places keep coming out with new courses Smile They need some (all?) UL credits, so keep that in mind.

I took advanced operations management, project management, logistics and supply chain management at study.com. I think that hits at least two of the three. I might have to hunt down one class.

You can fully test out of this cert - and it's actually easier to get than the Ops Management AOS for the BSBA.

I'm a little confused--to transfer in all credits, should the courses be taken after enrolling with TESU, or could one take them now and enroll later?

You have to be getting a degree from them or at least enrolled per the TESU websiteto do 100%?

Is there an ACE or NCCRS source for Total Quality Management?  Or do you mean a TECEP friend?  Thank you!
