Not preposterous, just weird in the school name context. I'm pretty sure if you tell someone your degree is from "Woolf" you're going to get a "Did you say Wolf?" response. Would definitely be
my response.

It's not "Woolf" that is weird. It is that, other than the url, the term "university" appears nowhere (or almost nowhere). Is it "Woolf"? Is it "Woolf University"? The former is weird, the latter is not.
The official name is simply "Woolf."
