Operations Management, I received an email about it.

As soon as these are cleared I'm asking for more classes. These will mark 7 total classes done in just 20 days.

1. you're a friggin rockstar getting all those classes done in such little time. please tell me your ways, or are you just THAT motivated?

2. send the instructor an email and ask if he can grade everything. it took him forever to get all my stuff graded, so I sent an email and within 24 hours I had everything back. I'll pm you his email address.

3. Eng 151 looks awful. ugh Confusedhudders:
Thank you for the email! The professor did finally grade it, sst0s suggested I contact Cody and I did so and suddenly I got my results, etc. The guy printed out my essay and handwritten notes. Like wow. The dude's a classic! His notes were extraordinarily helpful.

I'm motivated because I want this done, I've always wanted a degree for many years but I have never been able to do it. Plus, I'm living on my own, working a job that only pays $19/hour, and trying to afford to live on my own. I have a roommate that is a hoarder and thinks COVID is a hoax and I have no immune system, he basically invited half of his family to live in my house, etc; it's frustrating to no end. I can't use my own kitchen, my own living room, etc. He decided to clear his storage out and use the hallways, etc as storage. It's just driving me nuts and due to the ban on evictions, I can't do anything. But I can't afford (nor legally can't kick him out). I decided to take advantage of returning to work, and the downtime in COVID to finish my degree while I feel healthy for the first time in my entire life after my heart transplant. After this, I am hoping I can get a job that pays closer to $25 an hour, where I can afford to not have my roommate. I want to go get my nephews who are 9 and 13 and living in a homeless shelter with my sister and bring them to live with me. I live in a very affluent area (got lucky on the house, my grandma owns it I just have to pay the mortgage, and she left it to me in her will). Once I have the pay to do this I'll probably temporarily move out of my house to my mom's house so my roommate has to pay the full amount to my grandma, which he won't be able to afford, and have to move out on his own so I can swing back in with my nephews.

For a lot of this stuff, I worked in a very competitive and niche industry for many years. I am actually one of the world's leading experts when it comes to document management, etc. But, I don't live in Boston, so the paywall is different where i live. I'm attached to my area because of the better hospitals (Cedars-Sinai) and family. I've learned Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc. I'm involved in a lot of company decisions, etc. I've been a jack of all trades etc, and am a Quality Assurance Coordinator. Not having a degree has held back my pay considerably. I'm told I maxed out what my pay is for my education level and other bullshit excuses. I work for a small startup and I really like it.

Eng 151 does look awful Sad I find that English assignments are way harder than essays for any other possible class, and for no good reason. From what I can see this is what I have left to get my degree 12 courses!

BUS 220 Managerial Accounting
BUS 244 Management Information System
BIO 105 Human Biology
BUS 353 Legal & Ethical Environment of Business
BUS 321 Human Resource Management
BUS 440 Business Analytics
HUM 103 Creative Decision Making or ENG 211 Creative Writing
Modified French -- No voice/listening requirements, a modified written assignment due to being HoH
BUS 325 Financial Management
BUS 335 Organizational Behavior
BUS 469 Strategic Professional Communication
BUS 489 Business Policy and Strategy

Bold is my current competencies now that Leadership final & Organizational Management are turned in. I'm going to probably start Financial Management tonight after work. Organizational behavior probably over the weekend.

I'm personally not looking forward to French and Managerial Accounting. I'm hoping I can do HUM 103 vs Eng 211 I'll probably ask Jessica if I can do that.

I dont know If I am  correct in my assumptions .... but for the Liberal Studies it looking like you need 8 upper level elective classes besides the minor and only one Sophia class appears to come in as Upper level.

Also for their general  education requirements looks like one still would need a government class, a creative arts class and a particular science with lab class If only using Sophia credits.

In the minor possibly 3 or 4 more classes to do.  That depends on what you choose.

So If only bringing in Sophia classes first, I would calculate 13 - 14 classes to finísh a Liberal Studies degree there at mínimum.

For the other degrees I dont know If they have a set requirement for upper level credits...I havent found it anywhere on the website so maybe just the classes listed for the major?

Ashkir's major choice already has tons of upper levels in it for example but the English major does not.  So I have no idea.

No need to worry. UMPI offers every course needed to complete their degrees. Some of the GEC courses are VERY easy. You're going to have to take more than 10 classes at UMPI. That's something people just have to accept. Remember, you can complete as many courses as you can in a term. I'm much slower than ashkir. I will have completed 16 course over 3 terms when I graduate next month.

And the class at UMPI is not difficult. The Final Assessment is not horrible at all. Much less work that Study.com.

I finished managerial account last week. It’s a lot of reading but the final project was extremely easy in my opinion..

I am way slower than both of you. Only completed one course but I am lazy and go days without doing any substantial work. I finished managerial accounting and now on microeconomic and oral communication

holy cow, that's a lot you have going on. I'm super proud of you. I wish your roommate would respect you more regardless if he thinks covid is a hoax because lets face it, COVID or not you're still immune compromised no matter what. I can't wait for you to kick him out.
and I really do hope that once you're done with this degree that you're being paid a lot more than $25/hr you deserve it especially with your background.

If you can't legally kick him out due to an eviction ban, won't your grandma not be able to kick him out for the same reason?

I would think that it would be easier to kick him out due to his compromising your immune system than it would be for not paying rent...

That one took me longer than any others. There's a LOT of material covered in the course. There was an exam as the Final Assessment when I took the course. I was very happy it wasn't a paper or project. I took almost the full 3 hours. I think I had like 15 minutes left.

So this might be one where you could take it somewhere else and hope they'll transfer it in?  Like maybe an RA school even?  What's your take on that?

I think this is just tough subject matter and the first course in finance covers a lot of material. I did the Sophia finance course, which transferred into UMPI as general business credit, and found it to be the hardest of the Sophia courses I took.  In the amount of work required, the scope, etc., I think it was pretty comparable to UMPI.

FWIW, I scored in the 80s on the final exam, so expect a B in the class. I am pretty happy with that, all things considered. So much for a 4.0 at UMPI...
