If you are still considering the Lib Studies NSM concentration, you can also pick UL math courses from the math degree for credits: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan

Thanks! Looks like there are a few there that might work.

1652Q, what was your BA in? Do you have any science courses at all for undergrad, did you take a couple for first/second year of your undergrad? I suggest taking some courses through CLEP/Sophia.org instead of StraighterLine for lower level courses unless Sophia.org doesn't offer that course and Study.com for upper level courses towards your future second Bachelors.
If you're going for a TESU BALS NSM, you need 9 NSM UL credits and you can take 6 UL credits in something else, such as taking the TEEX Death Investigation course for cheap, easy, fast 3 UL credits. You can also take a few LL courses through TEEX, they all come in as AOJ or Criminal Justice and will hit some of the LL requirements in the Area of Study, you need at least 9 NSM LL and 6 LL in some other subject, so you can take two CJ courses from TEEX...
For TEEX LL classes, I suggest Basic Property Tech & Fingerprint Comparison: see here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/TEEX - you may also look into doing a Masters in CJ or if you're into CS/IT, there are inexpensive Masters offered through CBE competency based education degrees, some from for-profits and non-profits such as Walden and Purdue/WGU

Unfortunately, my degree was in history, and although I did have a Calculus course, my other science courses were in history of science. The plan you suggest sounds very sensible. Didn't know that TEEX has UL courses; that's interesting. Is there a list somewhere of their equivalencies?

TESU allows u to get only 2 Bachelors in total. If u have Bachelor from other University, it will be counted as 1 already. So u can get only 1 at TESU but with 2 AOS ( if u want)

What's the purpose of getting a hodgepodge liberal studies degree when the goal is to learn forensic science? Most people working in forensic science have strong backgrounds in chemistry. Biology and biological anthropology are also good to study. Taking random math, computer science, and introductory science classes that aren't really relevant to forensic science seems kind of pointless. I'm saying this as someone who has a master's degree in forensic medicine.
